It all starts by getting to know one another. For me it is aquainting myself to the lifestyles of the family knowing how they live in their home! 

The first consultation should always begin in the home. No matter if you are building a new house, experiencing how the people in the home interact with one another is the foundation from which to build the design. How the home lives! The movement from room to room of husband, wife, children, and pets. Where each member of the household finds themselves most comfortable and enjoy the evenings, the most important time of day. After all the busiest of days, how does the family relax and socialize. Knowing the family shows the design path! When you want to shut out the day, you want a design which offers your perfect retreat.

Some clients are robust in their needs for a kitchen that must cook efficiently with a culinary function. Some clients admittedly don't cook with culinary flare, it's just the basics for them. Other's only want a stunningly beautiful kitchen, the don't spend time in the kitchen, it's just the "Jewel" of the home. Kitchens have evolved from strictly a utilitarian space tucked in the back of the house, to the social and Fashion center for the family. 

As a designer raised in a family of restaurateurs, I am a motivated to provide the best tools for the clients to choose appliances that meets their Culinary level. Placing "pretty lights vs utilitarian lights". Dry goods vs fresh or perishables. An all encompassing designer.

My Design objective: Design a "Kitchen that Cooks!" 

Function, the key to a pleasant culinary task. Today, technology and features have highly organized the kitchen too perform better than any other time in design evolution. SMART TECHNOLOGY, organization inserts, special function cabinetry, and key stations of prep and serving. The 21st century kitchen is now a room for all family socialization and gatherings. We have taken down the walls, bringing the home into the kitchen.
